Coaching people to realise their full potential and be their best

I’m Alex and I believe that we all have the resources and potential within us to achieve what we want in life.

Sometimes, life gets in the way.

I work with people seeking or navigating change, experiencing challenges, or wanting to fulfil unrealised ambitions. Through coaching I offer the space, time and support for people to create the confidence, commitment, and awareness to take action and to get to where they want to be in life.

My coaching approach

In its simplest form a coach listens and asks open, non-leading questions to help you find your own answers.

My coaching approach is founded on the belief that you have the answers and not me. As your coach I will always believe in you. I will not advise or offer answers but provide the time and space through listening and asking questions for you to find your answers. My aim is to meet people where they are on their journey, to enable them to take control and to navigate to where they want to be with awareness, clarity and motivation.

What is coaching for?

In short, coaching is for anyone looking to make a positive change in their lives.

Two of the main outcomes from coaching are increased self-awareness and motivation to act upon this increased awareness.

Through coaching I have helped people in the following ways:

  • Find direction and motivation

  • Live a happier, more balanced life

  • Manage transitions including a new job and taking on new responsibilities

  • Overcome self-doubt to pursue personal dreams

  • Build belief to pursue a different lifestyle and career change

  • Improve personal performance and confidence

  • Start and grow a business

About me

My practice began in reflective listening before voluntary work introduced me to coaching, where I discovered the power it could have in positively transforming people’s lives.

I’ve worked with people across many stages in their life, whether at school, starting a job, finishing a career, navigating change or considering a new direction. I have also trained organisations and teams in coaching and its approach as a way of unlocking ours and others’ potential. Alongside coaching I run an education charity that empowers young people to achieve their potential, regardless of their background.

Behind all of this, and what often goes unsaid, is that I have also and still experience self-doubt and a fear of failure.

While my experience shapes me, my intention is to be present to those I coach as people, meeting them where they are.

Explore coaching

I offer hour-long one-to-one coaching sessions and a three-month programme of coaching.

If coaching with me sounds like something you would like to explore, please get in touch using the form below to arrange an introductory call.

It takes courage to consider coaching and the first step is often the hardest. The intention of the introductory call is to explore how coaching may support you in achieving what you want and to see if coaching with me is right for you.
